If I donate my item do I get any money or can I write it off on Taxes?
The simple answer is NO. You will not be able to write it off on your taxes and you will not get any money
for donated units. On the donation form you will get 10% off your first purchase on our www.DirectFix.com webpage.
You will also get the satisfaction that the unit did not go in the trash or landfill. Once again we are
NOT a non profit company.
Why should I send you my unit?
The simple answer is that we will keep it from going to the landfill and we are able to Recycle 95%-100% of all items that come to us.
What if I have a large volume of consumer electronic units that I want to donate or sell?
Email us. Depending on the units and condition we will get you a price quote to purchase them or if we do not purchase your particular units we will try and help with the
shipping cost for donating them to us.
Will you cover the shipping cost?
Most of the time the answer is NO unless you have a large amount of units then we will try and help with this cost. On our recycle form we provide a discount
coupon good for 10% off your first order on our www.DirectFix.com webpage. This should help off set the shipping cost.
Which units will you purchase and how much will you pay?
Please refer to the sell us section on our webpage where we talk about what units we will purchase and the prices we will pay for them.
Do I need to fill out a form to send you a unit?
YES, YES, YES, Please include a form with any and all items you send us. This includes donation and units we have listed as purchase items.
Is there any units you will not accept?
Sort of...We accept any and all donated PDAs, Smartphones, Cell Phones, MP3 Players and iPOD units. At this time
we do NOT accept any laptops, computers, printers or monitors. If you are not sure email us please.
